Akamai is a global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, supporting the Internet to be fast, reliable and secure for its customers. Akamai’s advanced web performance, mobile performance, cloud security and media delivery solutions are revolutionising how businesses optimise consumer, enterprise and entertainment experiences for any device, anywhere.
Akamai made the decision to establish their own office in response to greater business growth, acquiring a 10,200 sq ft space in a Category A building located in Triennale, Milan. Relocating from an existing serviced office, Akamai were after a contemporary environment not only reflecting their culture and business objectives, but also providing a stylish, supportive workplace in a central location for their team.
We applied our full Think Create Make methodology of strategy, design and delivery services to Akamai’s Milan office. Dynamic in its aesthetic, we paid close attention to ergonomic requirements of the team, creating a space comprising of open plan areas, focus booths, quiet and collaborative meeting rooms and various break out zones, supporting agile working approaches. Taking into consideration the brand guidelines, we selected a vibrant colour scheme and bespoke furniture pieces to further enhance and integrate with the layout.
