GlobeSt.'s Women of Influence
This initiative highlights outstanding women holding various positions in the industry. This year our own Chely Wright, Marjorie McCarthy, and Regan Donoghue were included among the winners.
Chely, named a GlobeSt. Diversity Champion, was honored for her work leading Unispace’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) program. Her accomplishments include helping launch Unispace’s firm-wide change management strategy centered around DEIB and helping create Art for Impact, a new offering that helps clients meet their DEIB goals. Chely has also been recognized as a Crain's New York Notable LGBTQIA+ Leader this year.
Marjorie, chosen as a GlobeSt. Marketing/Communications Professional, was recognized for her role as a key business driver for Unispace. Marjorie helps Unispace win new office design engagements by crafting narratives around the purpose of the office in a new hybrid work environment and how clients can tell their brand story through their physical space.
Regan, a recipient of GlobeSt.’s Consultant/Advisor recognition, was honored for her visionary and accessible approach to the most complex work challenges of the modern age. At Unispace, Regan helps global brands create inclusive employee experiences and plan for the future.

New York Real Estate Journal awarded Rose Williams for her achievements in the industry.
Rose, who leads the client success team at Unispace and manages top client relationships, was recognized for prioritizing employee wellness and helping diversify Unispace’s suppliers to include more women and minority-owned businesses. She is passionate about propelling client success and attracting more women to the industry.

Kat Ghassemi won Connect Media's CRE Next Generation Awards, celebrating rising industry stars under 35.
She was recognized for her leadership experience at Unispace, including identifying and executing projects that drive corporate strategy; partnering with key stakeholders on business initiatives; leading mergers and acquisition efforts; and spearheading Unispace’s expansion into new geographies.

Chely brings a background that fuses advocacy, business, real estate, and communications. She has vast experience advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) efforts and partnerships, working with companies and organizations to create more inclusive working environments. Kat applies a deep understanding of Unispace and the wider commercial real estate market. She has an astute approach to supporting senior leadership and setting Unispace’s direction, using her critical thinking, financial acumen, and research expertise to present robust new thoughts, arguments, and challenges to stakeholders that keep Unispace competitive and growing in New York and globally. Among other projects, Kat crafts Unispace’s overarching strategy and cascades it across the company. She identifies and executes initiatives that drive the firm’s competitive approach, partnering with stakeholders to lead and influence new business initiatives including M&A and a framework to secure strategic partners in target geographies. In 2023, Kat won Connect Media's Commercial Real Estate Next Generation Award.
