We’re pleased to announce that Belinda Scott is joining our team in Singapore as Regional Principal of Marketing for Asia Pacific.
Belinda brings a wealth of experience within the commercial real estate industry; most recently, marketing leadership positions at AMP Capital and Colliers International.
Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Rob Aird adds, “Over the past 12 months we’ve made great strides in the APAC market, despite the challenging COVID landscape. We’re excited to have Belinda join Unispace, with all her experience, to continue to drive our growth trajectory while Nicola Carey is on maternity leave. Hiring a senior role in Singapore also signals our commitment to Asia and the ongoing evolution of our business.”
We caught up with Belinda to hear about what she’s most looking forward to in her new role, her motivations, and how she’s finding the transition from Sydney to life on the equator.
Tell us a bit about your background
I’ve worked across almost all segments of the property industry, both on the agency side and the fund/owner side, and I’m excited to now be focussing on the ever-evolving workplace sector.
What drew you to Unispace?
The company is entering an exciting phase of growth, and I wanted to be a part of it. I’m passionate about building marketing capability and transforming brands for growth so this is a great time to join.
What are your priorities in your new role?
Building upon our strong position in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, and supporting our expansion into new markets across Asia. There’s a huge appetite for growth and the sky’s the limit for the brand.
What’s the most exciting project you’ve ever worked on?
Working at AMP Capital, I had the privilege of working across some really cool projects, namely the Quay Quarter development at Circular Quay in Sydney, and the development and roll-out of Annexe, AMP Capital’s flexible workspace brand.
