The client needed a facility for a new small-scale manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters, including a workspace and a canteen facility for 140 people. The site manufactures a biopharmaceutical drug substance for the US and international market, so they needed a consistent team they could trust to deliver this €100 million project. They engaged our team for site master planning and future capacity planning/optimization, design, and project management.
The two-story manufacturing building has ISO 8 grade rooms, ISO 7 grade rooms, materials receipt, warehousing, cold storage, QC and microbiology laboratories, process development laboratories, and plant rooms and utility spaces.
This 26-month project included the company's corporate headquarters, which was built and occupied in 12 months. Following the project, our team continued to support the client at this site, including a new device engineering R&D facility, master planning, and ongoing site design and support services for future developments.
