Spain’s largest bank, Santander Asset Management is a global firm that develops bespoke financial solutions for private investors and institutional clients. Santander approached us to develop and deliver an environment that would reflect their position as a global force in banking and surpass their clients’ expectations.
Our strategists partnered with Santander’s leadership early on to ask those questions that would allow us to understand the firm’s business aspirations. Our designers then translated this intelligence into a space that expresses the firm’s distinguishing characteristics and skillfully addresses project imperatives.
Comfort and discretion emerged as key design drivers. Great care and attention to HVAC design ensures impeccable air quality and climate control for the executive suite meeting environment. Acoustics were an equally important factor and we relied on slab-to-slab partitions to accommodate the stringent confidentiality demands of Santander’s clientele.
Transparency is a pillar of Santander Asset Management’s value proposition. The design relies on translucent surfaces and a restrained colour palette. Together, these allow natural light to bathe the space and visually express a core value of the firm.
