Autex Acoustics
A standout destination for Autex Acoustics, blending products, purpose and experience to engage clients and inspire creativity.
A bold new chapter for Autex Acoustics in London
Looking to reimagine its presence in the heart of Clerkenwell, Autex Acoustics, an industry leader in innovative acoustic solutions, teamed up with Unispace to transform its London showroom into a showcase of design, craft and creativity. The vision was to create a space that not only embodied the brand’s forward-thinking identity but also offered an immersive experience for clients, partners and the wider design community.
Elevating acoustic solutions with thoughtful design
The new showroom was designed as a refined, high-end space that guides visitors on a curated journey through the Autex product range. With a hospitality-inspired feel, it balances sophistication and flexibility, serving as both an event space and a dynamic environment that evolves with the seasons. Rather than overwhelming the space with logos or branding, the narrative is told subtly through museum-style text, carefully carved detailing and elegant placement. Walls flow seamlessly into the ceiling, creating an organic, sculptural form that echoes the acoustic qualities of the materials.
Responsible design with real impact
Sustainability was a key focus throughout the project, with careful consideration given to reusing existing materials and furniture.
Delivering excellence on time and on budget
Delivering this bespoke showroom within a tight deadline was a real team effort, with Clerkenwell Design Week as the key milestone. The project management team excelled in balancing budget while maintaining a high-end finish throughout.

Creating flow and function throughout the showroom
The showroom is designed as a seamless, interconnected environment that can also function as distinct zones, including a bar area, multiple meeting spots, an event space and a large sampling table. Flowing elements guide visitors through the space, while curtains, used instead of walls, offer flexibility.

Crafted features with purpose
The showroom’s most striking features are the flowing, organic 3D fins that shape the space and create defined areas. These 110 custom panels, crafted in close partnership with Autex’s designers and manufacturers, balance openness with privacy, guiding visitors through the showroom.
