Located in Midtown Auckland City, Mosaic is a brand-new premium workplace offering. It puts user experience at the centre, taking inspiration from world-class hotels and hospitality to create a one-of-a-kind experience in Auckland City.
Spanning 17 levels across 13,000sqm, Mosaic is home to wide range of amenities, including a large café, fitness studio, golf simulator and lounge, podcast studio, private wellness/prayer room, parents’ room, and extensive end-of-trip facilities.
The building provides a variety of flexible workplace offerings, from private offices for small teams, dedicated co-working hubs and fitted turnkey office suites complete with a kitchen, meeting rooms, collaboration and breakout areas. A flexible event hosting space allows for a variety of formats – from seated conference to a casual cocktail set-up.
Owned by an offshore institutional investor, the building needed a full asset reposition to increase occupier attraction. As a result, occupier experience is at the forefront of the design. Working closely with the key stakeholders, Unispace undertook extensive research and planning to determine what spaces occupiers need and desire, ultimately filling a gap in the Auckland market.
A key objective was to create an environment that enables users to easily spend the day at Mosaic, by providing everything they need for a full day of productive work, social connection and mental and physical wellbeing.
The design is thoughtful and intentional. A seamless user experience enables easy movement between co-working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms and breakout spaces easily with plug and play technology capabilities. A warm, textured material palette complements the exposed concrete basebuild. Earthy tones of rust and khaki bring cohesion across the 17 floors, creating a premium hotel feel and experience.
One of a kind in Auckland, Mosaic is redefining what a traditional occupier experience looks like. It reflects a new era of workplace that enables users to integrate wellness, social connection, hobbies and rest into their work lives.
