We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Greenwood as Global Principal, Strategy and Enterprise, within Unispace’s growing team.
Based in our Sydney office, Luke will leverage two decades of industry experience to help drive growth and to work with the global strategy team to develop new business strategies and opportunities as we seek to consolidate our position at the forefront of workplace innovation.
Luke’s real estate industry background includes a mix of client side, development, landlord and coworking experience, having held senior positions at Lendlease, OpenText and Ludine Group. Most recently he was Global Head of Corporate Real Estate & Head of c-suites at Lendlease. He has led a series of award-winning projects around the world, from Barangaroo in Sydney to developments in Manilla and UAE, Singapore, and Tokyo.
We caught up with Luke to hear more about what attracted him to Unispace and how he sees the workplace and real estate industry evolving going forwards.
What excites you about joining Unispace?
It’s a fantastic time to be at the company. Unispace is on a journey to make a lasting impact on the workplace and real estate landscape. The company’s strategic hiring and growth-oriented business strategy means that the sky is the limit for our people and our clients. I’m excited to join the team and be part of this journey.
What do you see as your main priorities in the role?
My main objective is to raise awareness of how Unispace is leading the way in its approach towards designing the workplaces of the future. But my first priority is getting to know our people, the broader global strategy and Enterprise teams I will be working with, and of course our clients. Also learning from the team and knowledge sharing so that we can kick on with driving change across the industry.
Are physical workplaces still important in the APAC market?
Absolutely. The workplace remains critical to business success, enabling collaboration, fostering culture, and ultimately, helping give every business its identity.
Right now, businesses have a real opportunity to redefine their workforce and workplace strategies for the future. It’s not a question of whether we will go back to normal, but rather a question of ‘do we want to?’ and determining what we need to be successful going forwards.
Managing Director for APAC, Rob Aird concludes, “Over the past 12 months we’ve continued to make great strides in the APAC market, despite the challenging landscape. Luke brings a diversity of thought and experience to our team in APAC, and globally, that will help Unispace to penetrate larger customers with different approaches. He will help us to drive new business strategies as we continue our global growth trajectory.”
Welcome to the team Luke – we’re thrilled to have you on board.
