As one of the first upgrades to Emirates’ fleet of US lounges, the Boston Logan Lounge is all about luxury and experience. After years of using a shared lounge, and to take advantage of a new terminal addition which accommodates Airbus A380s, Emirates decided to create a new, elevated space to better serve travelers.
We took Emirates’ global design guidelines and adjusted them to fit local standards, while providing a uniquely Middle Eastern experience.
By providing full design and construction services in-house, we streamlined the complex process of sourcing and matching materials from all over the world to complete the project within four months and on budget.
Our teams worked hand in hand to successfully fit the program in the unorthodox, curved floorplate.
We fulfilled an elegant, impeccable concept with onyx inlays, Rolex clocks and a water feature in the reception, as well as oversized Italian marble tile, high gloss walnut veneer, and commissioned sculptures and artwork throughout.
Mashrabiya screens separate the space while providing clear views of the runway. Restrooms with showers, Ferrari Italian leather seats and fresh halal meals from the full kitchen comfort guests while they wait. The earthy colour palette highlights Middle Eastern roots and maintains a modern, warm aesthetic.
