Leading wine business, Pernod Ricard Winemakers, engaged Unispace Australia to design and build their new Melbourne office catering to employee needs, client engagement and brand showcase requirements.
The previously shared Pernod Ricard Winemakers workspace was relinquished to secure a new space in Melbourne’s innovative business and design precinct, Cremorne. This enabled Pernod Ricard Winemakers to create their own identity in a dedicated area and showcase their comprehensive portfolio of international wine, spirit, and champagne brands.
The site chosen by Pernod Ricard Winemakers had the agility to transform from a blank canvas and leverage the accompanying outdoor area to create a functional and inviting space for employees and clients.
Purposeful design that delivers on quality, functionality, and brand
The Melbourne-based Pernod Ricard Winemakers team travel often and wanted a comfortable office base to return to that embodies their identity and accomplished portfolio.
Designated workspaces and client areas are connected with a half-height partially glazed wall to separate the entry and office area creating visibility between spaces while also allowing privacy when needed at the workstations.
The design incorporates the Pernod Ricard Winemakers brands and extensive product range throughout. A dedicated wall displaying large format brand decals, recessed glass shelves and exhibit bottles backlit with LED lighting to showcase the extensive international portfolio.
The overall soft color palette compliments the industrial base of polished concrete floors and open ceiling, creating a comfortable and relaxed environment. A clean color blocked palette of green, peach and grey is consistent across all internal spaces, allowing for a homogenous journey for users and visitors and providing a subtle back drop to showcase their leading products and brands.
An inviting breakout area and bar have been designed to effortlessly open out onto the external terrace to accommodate tastings, social gatherings, and exclusive events.
All new Australian made and sustainably considered materials were sourced, and where possible local suppliers were utilized to limit our impact on the environment and reduce lead times ensuring the project was delivered on time and on budget.
