Rabobank

After the successful design and construction of Rabobank's Wellington office, Unispace has worked with the global agricultural and farming bank to deliver their Dunedin office fit-out. 

Engaged for Strategy, Design and Construction services, Unispace worked to create a workplace that brings their people together and reflects the bank's goals. This included an in-depth analysis of Rabobank's Sustainability Strategy and reporting requirements. 

From this we developed a Sustainability Workplace Alignment Strategy to help drive the design and ensure alignment to Rabobank's goals. 

The workplace draws on finishes, materiality and graphics that align with Rabobank's other New Zealand workplaces but with unique Regional Otago elements to bring the local environment in. A key element of the design involved alignment to Rabobank's national design guidelines and specifications. 

The workplace needed to work hard, hosting 2-3 events and functions every quarter. Flexibility and functionality were key drivers as Rabobank regularly host 30+ people in person and dialled in. 

The kitchen/breakout design was crucial as Rabobank Dunedin have a strong social culture - regular events, competitions, bookclubs and drinks. 

The building's core is an open courtyard with space to sit outside among trees. Large windows enable the natural light to filter through the space, creating a strong connection to the outdoors. 

Delivered by the South Island Unispace team, this interior fit-out was delivered on-time and on-budget.
