Supporting co-creation for a diverse team
Now that Standard Life is a part of the Phoenix Group – the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business – it was time for an overhaul to ensure their Innovation Lab was meeting the larger teams’ collective needs. The Standard Life team turned to Downstream to help meet their goal in creating a welcoming and flexible environment for their employees as well as a collaborative space that would provide solutions for clients, partners, and advisors.

An immersive experience to set the industry standard for financial innovation
The customer’s journey was paramount when designing the Innovation Lab, and a warm, inviting, tailored environment was the way to get there. Providing a space for C-level customers, HR, employees, partner teams, and end-customers requires a bespoke offering and experience where solutions can be explored by all. 

Downstream designed a technology experience to support content presentations across various touchpoints – enabling guests to discover solutions matched to their needs.

The first of its kind – the Innovation Lab launched at the end of 2021 to major acclaim. With a space that fosters connection, efficacy, and experience, the Standard Life C-Suite feel invigorated to get their teams back into the immersive space. HR managers are eager to explore tailored solutions that involve, engage, and inspire employees to innovate.
