Warner Music Group
Delivering a fresh, functional artist-focused environment that reflects Warner Music Group’s brand and heritage
Composing the vision
Warner Music Group approached Unispace with a clear yet ambitious brief, to transform underutilised storage areas and dated recording studios into three distinct, high-performance zones that would elevate the artist and user experience. These spaces, previously used for archiving and characterised by a raw, warehouse aesthetic, required a complete overhaul to become functional, welcoming, and inspiring environments.
Design in harmony
The overall look and feel of the space was crafted to evoke a fresh, minimal and loft-style aesthetic with a strong sense of ‘home’. The design embraces natural materials and clean lines, creating a welcoming atmosphere that balances simplicity with sophistication. A neutral colour palette was chosen, featuring shades of grey, white and beige, complemented by oak and understated furniture tones. Interestingly, WMG’s signature blue was deliberately excluded in favour of this more muted and timeless scheme.
Spotlight moments
The design leads visitors on a carefully considered journey, beginning with a striking corridor from the Artist Lodge to the recording studios. This pathway is brought to life with colour-changing LED ceiling lights that set the tone and highlight the wall features, creating a visually dynamic route through the space. The journey continues down a staircase adorned with iconic records, honouring WMG’s legendary heritage and adding a bold statement to the overall design story.
The closing note
This project marked another successful collaboration with Warner Music Group, delivering a bespoke, artist-focused space that reflects both their brand and creative culture. The client was extremely happy with the outcome, and we’re proud to have brought their vision to life in such a unique and meaningful way.
