Justin Tydeman appointed new Unispace Group CEO as part of succession plan.

London, 18 March 2024 – Unispace Group has announced Justin Tydeman will join as Unispace Group CEO in April. Tydeman succeeds Global CEO, Steve Quick, who will remain with the business as a board advisor, also effective in April.

Tydeman brings deep experience from market leaders in facilities services, including Compass Group, Selecta and PHS and has a strong track record of driving sustainable growth and customer-focus in service businesses. As CEO, he has led three private equity-backed businesses operating in more than 25 international markets.

“This is an exciting time to join Unispace Group—as society embraces hybrid working, we are seeing a once in a century change in the purpose of customer and employee spaces. As our clients rethink and innovate, they need our partnership more than ever. We have a fantastic group of colleagues within our brands, and they bring an extraordinary set of skills and experience. With the strong support of our investor, PAG, we’re uniquely positioned to help clients build spaces that supports their team and business goals”, said Justin Tydeman, incoming Unispace Group CEO.

Since being acquired by private equity firm PAG, in 2020, Unispace has expanded service offerings to clients into new verticals and markets with intentional organic growth and key acquisitions in recent years of Bulb Interiors – a UK-based workplace and labs fit-out firm, Ireland-based Biopharma Engineering and global experiential design agency Downstream.

These acquisitions evolved the business from a focus on corporate interiors to a broader service offering of Unispace Life Sciences (highly regulated sectors) and Downstream (brand-led experiential environments), optimising capacity to deliver at scale globally and locally and across multiple industry verticals.
