Leading New Zealand law firm takes home global design award!
Russell McVeagh's Wellington-based practice has been recognised globally, winning Best of Region, Australia and New Zealand, in the 2025 Shaw Contract Design Awards.
The refreshed Wellington office is a destination for Russell McVeagh's employees, clients and visitors, reflecting their commitment to excellence and investment in their people and Wellington.
The annual Shaw Contract Design Awards honours the global design community celebrating not only unique and beautiful spaces but also the purpose and intention behind them.
With over 530 project submissions across 38 countries, it is an honour to be recognised as the only New Zealand project. Projects are judged on more than being beautiful and functional - responsible material use, carbon impact and diversity and inclusion were key considerations.
As a Best of Region winner, this project will go on to the next round, judged by an international panel of designers to select the Best of Globe winners in November.
