Building Okta’s First Dedicated Office in India
For its first standalone office in India, Okta, a global leader in identity and access management, partnered with Unispace to create a workplace that reflects its brand values, culture, and commitment to its people. The new Bangalore office was envisioned to anchor Okta’s presence in India while nurturing belonging, flexibility, and long-term growth.
Design Inspired by the Art of Weaving
The design concept is rooted in the art of weaving—a metaphor for interconnectedness, collaboration, and the collective strength that emerges when individual elements come together. This narrative guided the spatial design, material choices, and overall workplace experience.
To bring this story to life, the office incorporates handwoven artworks and handcrafted installations by local artisans, seamlessly blending indigenous artistry with contemporary workplace strategy. The result is a design that celebrates local culture while aligning with Okta’s global identity.
