Daikin are dedicated to pursuing solutions related to the air and environments we live in. They partnered with our team to create an environment which reflected this level of quality and care for their team in Milan.
Daikin secured a new location in the Via Ripamonti area, which provided them with a multi-functional new work space supporting holistic connection of their teams, bringing together operations, events, technology and a showroom.
Through our Strategy phase, and interviews with Daikin's President and department managers, the feedback gathered showed a strong demand for collaboration and flexibility of work settings, echoing Daikin's internal approach.
The new workplace, located within an existing building, is split over two floors and covers over 32,000 sq ft of space. The first-floor open area includes 140 dedicated workstations with 45 flexible workstations intended for a mobile workforce.
A large central break out area is characterised by grey and blue tones, vibrant wall graphics and timber that evokes the feeling of a northern European bistro environment.
The mezzanine floor is divided into two wings. In the north wing are laboratories and training rooms designed to test and present new products and their features. The south wing contains a reception area, 100 person capacity event space with lounge and catering provision, and a showroom.
The new European headquarters supports Daikin’s staff to work in an environment encouraging them to collaborate, be mobile and showcase the innovation of their product.
