It's that time of year again - four Unispace project and client teams gathered to celebrate at the much-anticipated New Zealand Commercial Project Awards evening.
We are honoured to have received five awards, a highlight of the night was receiving the prominent Platinum Award - the highest accolade that can be achieved in the programme, awarded to a company who has won five or more national titles.
Hosted by the Registered Master Builders Association, the annual Commercial Project Awards celebrates sustainability, teamwork and innovation - recognising the best in commercial construction across New Zealand.

Meridian Energy, Wellington
Commercial Fit Out, Gold
Meridian Energy's Wellington HQ is a beautiful story of restoration and authentic sustainability goals. Design and delivered to the advanced Living Building Challenge accreditation, the fit-out brings a new lease of life to the 120-year-old heritage architectural icon - the Old Bank Arcade. The result is a genuine reflection of Meridian's values and responsibility to our environment, achieving incredible statistics including 95% of waste diverted from landfill - learn more here.
ASB Bank & Kiwi Property, Auckland
Commercial Fit Out, Silver
ASB Bank's new Sylvia Park workplace consolidates several locations into one flexible, long-term home for the leading bank. The 1,700sqm workplace was designed and delivered in just 7 months. Sustainability is a core component of the project, Unispace's Carbon Calculator was used to track embodied carbon across the entire project, achieving the highest possible rating for embodied carbon emissions.
Lightspeed, Auckland
Commercial Fit Out, Silver
Lightspeed's Auckland workplace is a incredible transformation from a tired, disjointed space, into a modern, vibrant workplace that reflects Lightspeed's global, innovative brand. Supporting collaboration, productivity and social interaction were key objectives, the result is a dynamic, fit-for-purpose workplace. Read more here.
Nelson City Council
Commercial Fit Out, Silver
Nelson City Council required urgent upgrades to transform their dated 1970's building into a safer, modern workplace that enables the team to continue delivering for the community. Seismic strengthening and spaces for interaction and collaboration were prioritised, resulting in a space that supports wellbeing and operational needs.
