We are thrilled to announce the design for Carbon Black's headquarters has received a 2016 IIDA New England Award for Best Office.

Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, Carbon Black (formerly Bit9 + Carbon Black) provides advanced server security solutions to more than 1,000 organisations worldwide. This dynamic new workplace enables the tech industry's top talent to unleash their creativity and do their best, most satisfying work.

Our design addresses the needs of various user groups through a careful balance of personal and collaborative space and hinges on purposeful details that communicate Carbon Black's ideals of longevity, integrity and strength.

The IIDA awards jury of leading interior designers commented that the project "is a masterful breath of fresh air." The jurors also noted that "the decision to add a pop of orange on the sprinkler piping system is a whimsical and happy surprise."

Managing Director Matt Lock says: "We've always envisioned a better way to design and deliver today's workplace. We're immensely proud of our team and gratified to find that our results are being recognised by our peers in the industry."
