6 projects shortlisted for 9 Best Awards 2021

Celebrating the 'best of the best', the Designers Institute of New Zealand have shortlisted Unispace for 9 awards in this year's Best Awards across four spatial design categories.

The Best Design Awards have been celebrating the best of graphic, spatial and product design annually since 1998. Unispace is excited to have six projects announced as finalists in the categories of Office & Workplace, Healthcare & Wellbeing, Lighting Design and Colour Award. This shortlist reflects the success of our unique methodology alongside the traditional and Design & Build models in delivering exceptional, complex commercial fit-outs.

Congratulations to our 2021 finalists:

Office & Workplace

  • QIC, Melbourne: bringing QIC's new way of working to life, this 1,250sqm design has redefined the workplace experience for employees and clients.
  • ServiceNow, Melbourne: a future-proofed workspace for one of the world's fastest growing and most innovative software companies. ServiceNow's Melbourne office applies their global space formula yet connects staff and customers to the local culture through design finishes, bespoke elements and artworks.
  • RocketWerkz, Commercial Bay: this is a workplace that has to be seen to be believed. A premier gaming studio and workplace in the penthouse levels of Auckland's tallest commercial tower. The lighting element of this design is particularly unique and adds to the immersive, gamified experience.
