How we used to work vs. now
Prior to the pandemic, most employees would come into the office every day, completing work at individual workstations, benching, or clustered stations. Shared areas like break rooms, cafés, and meeting rooms were more trafficked, and social distancing was nonexistent. Now, companies must rethink their office design, considering flexible working models, health and safety protocols, and how they can incentivise staff to come back into the workplace.
We believe the office will be used in new ways to better serve staffs’ work modes. While individual work will continue to be completed in a remote setting, collaboration and problem solving will be done in the office.
