Continuous manufacturing/wet granulation

Design, procurement, and program management for this continuous manufacturing and wet granulation project.

Our client needed a partner to complete the EPCMV for the project. Our design allowed existing trains of equipment to be removed; we also designed and procurement a replacement equipment train. We worked with the client to demolish and reinstate the existing production areas while ensuring that site operations could continue throughout the project. 

The project required civil changes for rooms, such as reallocating technical spaces, operator access platforms, and a structural assessment for process loadings. It also incorporated bulk IBC dispensing stations, loss in weights screw feeders, product dispensing hoppers, a continuous granulator, continuous blenders, continuous fluid bed dryer, and mixing systems. We designed and installed clean room systems and an overall package to ISO 8, which used Ardmac paneling stand-alone AHU and an associated BMS system. The project also included the planning and fire certificate, installing custom equipment control systems with 800i/o WinCC scada and batch control.
