Unispace was commissioned to design the first Executive Centre premises in Melbourne. The brief was to create a business centre, based on the successful foundations of the TEC model; layering their premium brand offering with a distinctly Melbourne look and feel. They wanted to cultivate an environment equipped for success with the tools to support a variety of business requirements.
Working with The Executive Centre team we identified the key functional components of the space and developed concepts for the layout, look and feel, and design. We worked with their team to incorporate key learnings from their global centres into the functionality and design of the space.
Critical to the success of the space is the power of connection and flexibility. A central breakout area creates maximum connectivity between the communal and private spaces and provides opportunities for networking and socializing. The private offices are positioned around the perimeter of the floorplate, each easily adaptable to suit the space requirements of their clients.
For their Melbourne centre they dedicated a larger amount of coworking space, than their other locations, reflecting the growing workplace trend. To reflect the Melbourne locale, our designers sourced local custom furniture, as well as Australian hard woods and leathers, reflective of the local landscape.
TEC’s new Melbourne location leads the way as a premium serviced office to create a warm & welcoming, sophisticated and refined space for the businesses that occupy it.
