Relocating to a new 1,880sqm tenancy in Auckland, Fusion5 needed a design & construction partner to deliver their project within a defined budget in a 12-week construction timeframe.
Key drivers for the new workplace included uniting Fusion5's people and encouraging creativity and collaboration as the previous workplace was underutilized and staff were disconnected.
The design focused on creating a buzzing social hub – a space that was missing from their previous workplace. The large café space provides an opportunity for staff to come together and connect throughout the day. The space also functions as a town hall for company-wide gatherings. Fusion5’s brand colors are translated strongly throughout the design, creating a recognizable space where staff and visitors feel welcome.
Unispace provided Change Management services to educate Fusion5’s staff on how to use the new workspaces and support them with transitioning to a 0.89 sharing ratio.
The project has been an immense success, evident in the below post-occupancy survey results, showing a reflection of business values and increased workplace pride:
- 97% of employees agree that the new office expresses Fusion5’s brand and values
- 96% of employees feel proud to bring clients and visitors to the new office
- 93% of employees agree that the new office supports a sense of belonging and inclusivity
- 92% of employees can easily access shared spaces and spaces that facilitate ad-hoc connection
- 92% of employees agree that the new office demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and social impact
The project was completed on-budget and handed over a week early, defect free.
