Liquidnet is a UK based global institutional marketplace that directly connects like-minded investors. Their first office location in Dublin announced their debut in the Irish marketplace with an environment that reflects their company values of supporting customers, advancing their industry and improving the world beyond.
Their new build office needed to accommodate up to 30 staff with room to expand as the company grows. To satisfy this, our team included an array of spaces in the design from closed offices, to formal boardrooms and smaller meeting rooms. Additional open and closed work spaces were included as well as hot desking space that will allow for more work spaces with future expansion.
Liquidnet wanted strong design with a presence of solidarity and formality. Thus, the main materials that were chosen for this scheme were concrete, timber and black matte finishes. These materials were complemented with slight hints of colour, using greens and blues to allude to their future New York office.
Unispace’s presence on site was crucial to the management of the project. Coordination and management of the sub-contractors in addition to full weekly reports issued to the client ensured that the project was progressing according to the programme and the client regularly had the opportunity to issue feedback.
Having a full time site manager and project manager on site each day also allowed Unispace to face each and every construction challenge, avoiding any time delays.
The design of Liquidnet Dublin was set to a very high standard, so each element had to be carefully planned and managed in order for delivery to be successful. The transition from design to construction was seamless and the brief was achieved on time and to budget, due in part to the trust and confidence between Unispace and Liquidnet from beginning to end.
