Covid-19 hasn’t stopped the NZ Registered Master Builders’ Association celebrating the best in construction with their annual awards gala being hosted virtually for 2020. For Unispace, this meant our New Zealand Construction team celebrated their Commercial Fit-Out category clean sweep in a rather unorthodox way.
Watching the awards show from the comfort of our own homes, the teams racked up five awards in the space of three minutes. Congratulations to our clients, project partners, subcontractors and the Unispace strategists, designers, project managers and site managers who were responsible for these award-winning workplaces.
National Winner, Commercial Fit-Out Category:
- HEB Construction – HEB Construction was also awarded as one of the ‘best of the best’ for its interior design by the Design Institute NZ. Read more

Principal, Construction, Arwen Dickinson, commented, “These awards mean a lot to Unispace because they’re a celebration of every aspect of our collaborative and unique design and construction process – a celebration of the hard work and efforts of so many people. An added celebration for us is that three of the projects were led by female Construction Project Managers. In our traditionally male-dominated industry, we’re proud of the strength of our diverse team.”
