Unispace’s methodology awarded by the New Zealand construction industry

Three Unispace projects were awarded at the 2019 NZ Commercial Project Awards on Friday 17 May.

We would like to congratulate the client, project and subcontractor teams involved in the design and delivery of these exceptional workplaces.

Leading with a Silver in the Commercial Fit-Out category, BNZ (Bank of New Zealand) won its third award for their 10 storey head offices in Wellington’s CBD. BNZ Ricoh House includes their multi award-winning Partners Centre; a new concept adopted to transform the customer experience at BNZ, which is proving to be highly successful. The project was completed in a lightening quick timeframe of 8 months from start of strategy to construction completion; something that was only possible as a result of Unispace’s unique methodology.

The Auckland headquarters for both Flight Centre and Panuku Development were also awarded Bronzes in the Commercial Fit-Out category. An accolade for the complex delivery programmes which involved a major phasing component and significant base-build contractor collaboration for the projects respectively.

The NZ Commercial Project Awards, run by the Registered Master Builders Association (RMBA), set the benchmark for commercial construction in New Zealand. Recognising the quality of delivery and craftsmanship of delivery of individual projects.

“Unispace is proud to be recognised among the wider construction industry with these awards. It shows our ability and capacity to deliver high-end projects for both public and private sector. Our methodology ensures all of our disciplines are working together concurrently to provide a smooth, accelerated and risk-free delivery model across Workplace Strategy, Design, Project Management and Construction as the Main Contractor. It’s a big win for demonstrating our difference to our clients.” Luke Rogers, Principal, Pre-Construction
