Unispace signs CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion Pledge

Today we made our commitment to advancing workplace diversity and inclusion even clearer. Global CEO, Steve Quick, signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge. With this pledge, alongside over 2,400 influential leaders, Steve reaffirmed our commitment to building a culture of inclusion and belonging.

About CEO Action Pledge

CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Formed by PwC (and leaders from Accenture, BCG, Deloitte US, The Executive Leadership Council, EY, General Atlantic, KPMG, New York Life, Procter & Gamble) on the shared belief that diversity, equity and inclusion are societal issues, not a competitive one. This collaboration and bold action plan from the business community is vital to propelling scalable change.

By openly sharing our strategic actions, we hope to encourage others to make the pledge and help develop their organizational Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging goals.

Why Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging is a moral and business imperative

At Unispace, we celebrate differences and believe that Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) is a moral and global imperative. DEIB is redefining workplaces and creating an inclusive workspace that promotes a positive culture, attracting and retaining talent and driving business success. We are excited to be an official signatory of the CEO Action Pledge to help create a more inclusive society.

"Everyday, we are focused on how we can make Unispace a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive place for our people, for our clients, and for the communities in which we operate." - Chely Wright, Chief Diversity Officer

This is our next step, not the end goal, towards encouraging and cultivating challenging conversations in the workplace to advance change.  For example, we recently worked with Orrick, LA to help them translate their DEIB goals into the Art for Impact program in collaboration with renowned local artist, Robert Vargas to design a workplace experience that deepens connections and welcomes a sense of belonging for all.
