Welcoming a slate of industry heavyweights to our leadership team
This month, we’ve appointed leadership positions across the Americas, Asia, EMEA and Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) to support global business operations, including welcoming three industry heavyweights.
Our newcomers hail from commercial real estate services firms CBRE, Colliers and a U.K. government agency. While our global teams connect via a shared culture and mission — to create amazing workplaces for our clients — our enhanced organizational structure reflects the importance of having a market-facing ambassador and go-to market strategy unique to each region we serve.
Emma Forster Mitrovski to lead Unispace’s Australia & New Zealand business
Building on our origins and strong foundations in Australia and New Zealand, we’re delighted that Emma Forster Mitrovski will join us to lead this critically important region, as CEO.
Emma brings extensive experience in senior and executive leadership roles across corporate real estate. Most recently, she served as Senior Managing Director of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business for the Pacific, where she led a large real estate solutions outsourcing business to corporate occupiers across ANZ.
Widely connected
Over the course of her career, she has delivered world-class solutions for clients such as ANZ Bank, Macquarie, Fuji Xerox, Kimberly-Clarke, Mondelez and American Express.
Emma will be based out of our Sydney studio and will focus on building on our strong existing foundation across ANZ.
Taking our presence in Asia to the next level; Paul Baxter joins as Asia CEO
Following on from our robust business momentum in Asia we are bolstering our senior leadership team in the region with Paul Baxter as CEO, based out of our Singapore studio. His experience growing Asia businesses support our ambitious growth goals, in a time when companies across Asia are navigating new workplace expectations amid the post-pandemic recovery.
Bolstering our Asia leadership bench
Paul was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific at Colliers and he brings an extensive background in portfolio management, workplace solutions, asset management and tenant advisory. In his career, Paul has worked with many of the world’s leading investment and occupier organizations — Nissan Motor Company, Toshiba, Google, GE Capital, and Deutsche Bank — across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Claire Shepherd joins as Chief Administration Officer to help us optimize our global operations
Claire joins us from UK government agency FCDO Services, after several years at real estate giants like Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE and Deloitte. She brings a wealth of experience in optimizing global operations and supporting client operations effectively.
Supporting our global growth
Over the course of her career, which has spanned real estate and facilities management for large global corporate portfolios, Claire has successfully completed several organizational transformations, which included the creation and leading of new functions, restructuring business, as well as merging existing organisations. As we continue to grow Claire’s expertise will be critical to our future success.
