Tell us about your career before joining Unispace Life Sciences.
I’ve worked in the construction industry for over 30 years, and have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the project lifecycle. I have successfully managed and delivered large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects, including ground-up, renovation, high-rise, mixed use, green building, and tenant fit-outs.
What attracted you to Unispace Life Sciences?
I am passionate about creating life sciences spaces that enhance the wellbeing, productivity, and innovation of end-users. Unispace Life Sciences’ expertise delivering complex facilities on a global scale and the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team under one roof attracted me to the business.

What will be your main priorities in terms of propelling success for Unispace Life Sciences and our clients?
My priorities include effective risk management, cost control, and timely project delivery when working with our clients. I’m also passionate about pushing boundaries and encouraging a culture of continuous learning to see what we can do better next time. The life sciences industry needs to evolve to compete for skilled talent, and I look forward to helping Unispace Life Sciences continue delivering futureproof labs, facilities, and workplaces.

Michael brings over 30 years of construction management experience driving quality execution on large-scale projects in life sciences, commercial, mixed use, multifamily high-rise, healthcare, education, and aviation.
